Module 4Lesson 4.2

Do you need an AI influencer? 3 cases where yes and 3 where no

Who appears in your videos · Lesson 2 of 8

A man of about 50 in his kitchen, holding his phone up as if to film himself, looking unsure.

You open the phone camera to film yourself talking about your course. You see your face, the yellow kitchen light, the dog barking outside. You close it. Tomorrow you will try again.

If that happens to you, an AI influencer can show its face for you. There are cases where it suits you and cases where it does not. Here are both, said plainly.

3 cases where yes

  1. You do not want to be on camera. It is one of the most common reasons people never post what they made.
  2. You do not have time to film yourself every day. A well-made video takes light, a place and several takes.
  3. You sell videos to businesses. You need someone who appears in your samples and, later, in your clients' videos.

3 cases where no

  1. You already film yourself every day and it works. Your own face builds more trust. Keep going.
  2. Your buyer wants to see a real person who tried the product. For a customer testimonial, a human wins. A 2026 study of the Spanish market says that in testimonials, demonstrations and tutorials that feeling of authenticity «can be hard to reproduce» with fully synthetic means.
  3. You have nothing to offer yet. A face with no offer gathers looks and brings in no money. The offer comes first, as you saw in lesson 3.1.

If you are torn between a made-up person and your own face, there is a middle road: a twin of you, made from your photos.

The middle road

A twin is your own face, made with artificial intelligence from your photos. It keeps the trust of a real face and saves you from standing in front of the camera every week.

It works best when your clients already know you: you teach classes, you serve people in person, your name is your business. You will see it in detail in lesson 4.5.

Whatever your case, the decision comes from your buyer. First, who you are talking to. Then, who does the talking.

How would you rather do it?

Nobody sees your answer: it is just for you.
