Every video you upload ends the same way: you paste the link to your course in the text and write “message me privately.” It seems the most direct way.
A month later you notice each video reaches fewer people than the last. Nobody warned you of anything, and you do not know what changed.
What the networks watch
Networks want people to stay inside the app. That is why they look closely at certain phrases and certain links. This is what creators report:
- Invitations to leave. A creator who ran accounts made with AI said Instagram shut down 9 of his accounts. He points to phrases like “link in bio,” “come chat with me” or “message me privately.” They were accounts in a niche the networks watch closely, and the lesson still applies.
- Links in the text. One coach says a post with an outside link reaches fewer people.
- Health or money promises. Cures, guaranteed results, someone presenting themselves as a doctor when they are not. One coach says not to make videos that pretend to be a professional.
Each network writes its own rules and changes them when it wants. Read them once on the network you chose as home, and look again every few months.
How to send a link
The way coaches recommend most takes the person to a private message, without pulling them out of the video:
- At the end of the video you ask for a word in the comments.
- Whoever writes it gets the link by private message. There are tools that send that message on their own when the word appears.
- That way you see who asked for the link and who opened it.
“If you want the guide, comment GUIDE and I will send it to you by message.”
Before you post
Read your text once looking for three things: a pasted link, an invitation to leave the network, and a promise you cannot prove. UGC Viral Studio leaves the text adjusted to each network, and the last read is yours.
This is practical advice from creators and coaches, not an official rule of any network. No list guarantees that an account is safe.
