Founders list (Spanish)Founders
Module 1Lesson 1.4

If you sell a course or you are an affiliate: the same videos, for you

The money and your two offers · Lesson 4 of 6

A kitchen table in the afternoon, with a laptop open on a sales page, an air fryer on the counter and a cup of coffee.

You recommend an air fryer as an affiliate. You put the link in your profile a month ago, with a photo of the product. Since then, 3 people opened it, and none of them bought.

Almost nobody saw the air fryer working, or heard a person say what it does for them in their kitchen.

Nobody buys from someone they have never seen

Before buying, a person goes through three steps:

  1. they see what you offer;
  2. they ask, even if only in their head: is this for me? how much is it?;
  3. they buy, if the answer convinces them.

If the first step fails, the other two never come. A published page gets visits when something brings people to it, and a short video is one way to do that, every day.

“Creating makes no money unless you give your product to someone who sells it.”

What a video does for each kind of offer

  • A course: a person talks about a problem your student has, and which lesson solves it.
  • An app: a person shows the task in their day that your app solves.
  • A service: a person explains in simple words what you do and for whom.
  • An affiliate product: a person uses it on camera and says what it does for them.

These are the same videos as offer 1, made for your own thing. The graphics of offer 2 work for you too: your course's offer of the month, your app's launch price.

A seller who takes no commission

A human affiliate usually takes a share of each sale, often between 25% and 50%. An AI influencer presents your offer in every video and takes no commission: you pay for generating each video.

You are still the one who chooses the topic, reviews the script and posts. The face in the video no longer has to be yours.

How would you rather do it?

Nobody sees your answer: it is just for you.
