Your new video got 7 views: when to keep going, when to change

Publish and answer people · Lesson 4 of 6

A man of about 50 sitting on the edge of his bed at night, looking at his phone, his face lit by the screen.

Your video number 11 reached 900 people. You celebrated.

You made number 12 with the same care, and it has 7 views.

That night you think the network hid your account, or that this is not for you. It is the moment when many people stop posting.

What happens to a new account

A creator who started several accounts describes it like this: on an account with no history, one video can reach millions of people and the next one stays at 7. The network does not know yet who to show you to, and it tests.

Coaches ask for long patience. One talks about some 200 short videos before you understand what works. Another says not to count on a big hit in the first year. It takes time, and it helps to know that before you start.

Keep going as you are if…

  • you have been posting at your weekly pace for less than a month;
  • some videos get comments or messages, even a few;
  • people watch your video almost to the end.

Change one thing if…

  • 10 videos in a row stay low and nobody watches past the first second: change the opening;
  • they watch to the end but nobody does anything: change the ending;
  • one topic brings messages and another does not: make more of the topic that brings messages.

Example: your last 10 videos open with your AI influencer saying hello. You change only that, and the next 5 open with your buyer's question. Everything else stays the same, and in two weeks you know whether the problem was the opening.

“Change one thing at a time. If you change everything together, you will not know what worked.”

Before you blame the network

When a video stays low, one AI influencer coach checks three things before anything else: the voice, the supporting images and the text.

Posting for months weighs less when each video is prepared in one place, without starting from scratch every time.

How would you rather do it?

Nobody sees your answer: it is just for you.
